1/1400 scale McKinley-style Drydock Starbase Star Trek 3d printed resin model

This BIG unassembled/unpainted 29-piece resin 3d-printed model of the Mckinley / Utopia Planitia drydock is the perfect model to add to your display. And with 4 small clear rods added to the underside of the "stop sign" upper structure (not included), the station is perfectly balanced and will appear to "float" over your finished Enterprise-D kit. Decals are provided for the main insignia showing either McKinley station or the U.P. Mars docks, and you can get the white-printed decal from a company called fallout hobbies for those excellent warning stripes. This isn't a hard kit to put together, but if you take a little time on it, the result is a super unique kit that will be the talk of your Sci Fi friends when they come over to visit. This goes without saying, but just to be super clear: the Galaxy class model seen in the finished photos is NOT included. This is an auction for the Drydock unassembled model ONLY. Thanks for looking! *A note about 3d printed resin models: All 3d models will have small "bumps" from the printing support structure that you will need to sand off; this is best achieved with simple padded nail sanding files or modeler's sanding sticks. The 3d printed resin models I sell are washed in 99% IPA and cured under UV light before shipping, but you may want to allow them to sit in the sun or under a UV source for 10 minutes or so per side for final post curing if you feel there is any tackiness to the resin surface (there shouldn't be). All resin models, regardless of design, should be washed with a mild abrasive such as Comet or Barkeepers friend before priming and painting.*
