Description: 11 World War 1 Real Picture Postcards Photos German Dresden Switzerland Soldiers Click images to enlarge Description Listed here is a set of 11 postcards, most RPPC, and photos from World War 1 about 1915 per dates originating in Dresden Germany and Switzerland. Some postcards are unused. Some have German notes and various stamps. Some have Divided backs, some have open backs and several are real picture postcards. Also included are 2 photos of very German looking men. All these items were located together, so kept the items together in case there is a story here connecting them all. Included: 2 identical RPPC of European Soldiers standing in front of destroyed buildings. One photo has the names of individuals in the photos in pencil in very small handwriting at the bottom of the photo. 2 RPPC dated 1915 in pencil of destroyed Bavarian looking buildings with more German notes in pencil on front and back. 1 RPPC of 3 German Looking soldiers 2 RPPC from Switzerland of Realp and Grimsel per labels in Pencil 2 Traditional Tourist type postcards of Dresden and Geneva with German notations. One with Geneve stamps. Dresdan postcard has quite a bit of edge wear. 2 photographs of a very German looking man, not sure they are of the same man. One photo is a RPPC and has extensive notes in pencil in German on the back. Cards show expected signs of use and aging and some paper dings.
