Description: This listing is for a professional-grade cast iron grill pan designed by Bjorn Dahlstrom for Hackman Tools. It was issued as part of a limited run series and retailed by Iittala at over $300. There is a number on the flat side of the pan but I can't quite read it. I don't know of any similar pan that approaches this one in quality. It is 11" square, weighs about 10 pounds, and has a stainless steel handle (with a hole for hanging) that's about 10.75" long. It can be used on a commercial stove or barbecue and will tolerate heat up to about 800 degrees. My guess is that it is almost indestructible. This item has been out of production for quite a while, and vintage pieces are avidly sought by professional chefs. I will be happy to ship it, or you may pick it up in NYC (Manhattan, East Village). It is also listed on a local (and nationwide) no-fee site on which people advertise everything from mobile homes to used Leggo's. Later this month I will be listing a low stainless steel Opa-series pot / casserole. This series was designed by Timo Sarpaneva in 1970 and has been acquired by numerous museums, including the Philadelphia Museum of Art and museums in Tronheim and Helsinki.
