This cutting board is handmade by me, Ryan. They are hand crafted and would make a great addition to any kitchen. The board is created using Hard Maple. The hardwood is cut locally here in Western Pennsylvania. All wood used is kiln dried to insure quality over time. Each piece of the cutting board is carefully hand selected, by me, to create the best design possible for you. A water proof industrial grade wood glue is used to make these boards as strong as possible. The boards are sanded to a super smooth finish. The finished board that you will receive will measure 10 wide by 16" long and are roughly 1.5" thick. The overall dimensions may vary by +/- . The board will feature a juice groove around the top surface. Each of our cutting boards is unique, no two boards are the same. The board will closely resemble the one you see in the picture but will vary slightly. Our cutting boards are treated with several coats of food grade mineral oil followed by a coating of butcher block conditioner. To clean our cutting boards, it is recommended that you wipe off product with soap and water. Never fully submerge cutting board in water or wash in dishwasher. Thanks for looking!
