Due to this mechanism of action, NAC is also indicated as a specific antidote in acetaminophen / paracetamol poisonings. INDICATIONS:Treatment of respiratory affections characterized by thick & viscous hypersecretions (thick mucus or phlegm): acute or chronic bronchitis & its exacerbations, pulmonary emphysema, mucoviscidosis & bronchiectasis.
