To make Licorice tea, put one teaspoon of the herb into a muslin bag and put it in a cup of boiling hot water. Cover the cup and let it steep for five minutes. Talk about a sweet smoke! After about 4 years the plant is pulled up and the root becomes a fine herbal smoke! Licorice root can also be a great sweetner for tea.
